We’ve found the best and cheapest deals in both the US and UK that bundle the console with some of the best games and accessories for less. We saw some brilliant Nintendo Switch bundles this Black Friday, so the quality has dropped a bit now that the year-end sale is over.
Limited offers or bundles available in the US. We’ve spotted a $299.99 Black Friday bundle is back on sale on Amazon – just don’t expect it to be around for long. Other than that, the best option is to buy a Switch and pick up the add-ons separately.
However, there is a great variety of bundles in the UK that contain many of the best Nintendo Switch games. Check them all out below, including the ability to add games like Minecraft, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or Animal Crossing New Horizons for free – or at a fraction of the regular price.

The comparison table below shows all the cheapest prices for the Nintendo Switch itself. Just make sure you don’t end up paying more than the US RRP of $299 and the UK RRP of £259 – even if you run out of stock again. Sometimes it’s better to get one that way and buy games or accessories separately if there are any significant deals.
We also looked at the best Nintendo Switch OLED prices today. Note that the suggested retail price is $349.99 in the US and £309.99 in the UK. It’s still early days, but there have already been slight discounts down to $30 / £30 for this new version of the console.

Nintendo Switch bundles: how to find a good deal
Just because Nintendo Switch bundles are cheap may not mean they’re good deals. Many retailers often bundle cheaper games with their Nintendo Switch bundles and still charge the standard price. Easily available games for $20-$30 can sneak in to more expensive deals, lowering the overall value of the deal.
In that case, it’s worth picking up a Nintendo Switch bundle with the full game for $60 and downloading the cheaper title separately if you’re desperate to play it. For this reason, it’s always a good idea to carefully check the current price of the bundled game you choose against the total cost to ensure you’re getting a good deal. Nintendo Switch retailers outside of peak shopping times (Black Friday or holidays) are more likely to try this tactic.
The best games in the Nintendo Switch bundle
As mentioned above, home releases are the games you’ll want to look for to get the best Nintendo Switch bundle deals. These games are developed and produced by Nintendo, such as Mario Kart, Mario Party, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Metroid, Pokémon, and so on.
Since these titles usually don’t drop much below their usual price (even years after release), your best option to get them cheap is as part of a Nintendo Switch bundle. We’ve seen games effectively receive discounts of up to 50% when purchased as part of a bundle.
When to buy Nintendo Switch deals
The best Nintendo Switch deals are usually found around the holiday season. You’ll find that the biggest games of the year are released between October and December, giving the bundles a higher value when those titles are available at a discounted price. However, a new Nintendo Switch bundle usually arrives with every major release of its own. We’ll be looking out for anyone featuring Pokémon Scarlet and Violet now that it launches.
Nintendo Switch Lite
The Nintendo Switch Lite launched for just $199.99 / £199.99 in 2019. That’s $100/£80 less than the original Switch console. If you also want to play games on your TV, you should opt for the standard Nintendo Switch instead, as the Lite can only be played in handheld mode.

Looking for something to play? Some of the latest Nintendo Switch bundles may not have the game you want to play in the first place. Joy-Con Deals
If you’re looking for more multiplayer options, you can check out the latest Joy-Con deals. These controllers are $10 more expensive than the Pro Controller (more on that below), but you get two separate controllers to expand your options. Nintendo Switch deals rarely include these controllers in their bundles as well, so it’s not worth waiting for a mega bundle.

Nintendo Switch Pro controller deals
Actually you won’t need a Nintendo Switch Pro controller to play any games you want, so don’t feel compelled to buy one. The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is a more traditional-style pad that launched with the Nintendo Switch. Prices aren’t cheap though, starting at around $69.99 / £64.99. Nintendo Switch bundles have offered a Pro controller in the past, but these are rare – and often higher-value bundles that grant you a bit more cash – so we don’t recommend waiting for them. Possibly not! Remember how the Joy-Con controller splits in two? Flip them sideways and you’ve got two primary controllers, each with its own analog stick and face buttons – the directional pad works like the face functions on the left controller. We’ve seen NBA 2K, Snipper Clips, FIFA 19, and Mario Kart series used this way in local multiplayer in both docked and tablet mode. This gives you multiplayer functionality right out of the box, with no additional purchase required.
However, if you want to play four-player games, you’ll need to invest in an extra pair of Joy-Con controllers or a couple of Pro controllers. We’d buy the Joy-Con as a pair (see our comparison chart above), as you’ll save some cash buying them separately. Moreover, if your friends own a Switch, ask them to bring their controllers to the party!
Nintendo Switch bundles rarely offer extra controllers at the standard price, as they are particularly expensive gamepads. However, retailers sometimes include the Pro Controller in their Nintendo Switch sales with a slightly higher price tag.
Nintendo Switch MicroSD card deals
With only 32GB of internal storage, you’ll want to buy a cheap memory card or two for your new Nintendo Switch for any digital purchases or the inevitable game fixing patches. Don’t worry though, they’re surprisingly cheap, with even 64GB costing under £20/$25.
What memory cards does Nintendo Switch need? These will be Micro SD cards, also known, depending on their size, as MicroSDHC (up to 32GB) or MicroSDXC (up to a whopping 2TB soon).
